FIRE-UP!!!! LAN's on in a few days.....

When you get to City Gate and pay at the front desk, then find a spot and plug into the network, also a quick notice, the dinner food run closes around 8pm and the AINC CSS tournament begins around the same time and costs an extra $10 per player.

The pre-register system closes on thursday at midnight so be quick to save that $5, also note that due to the high number of pre-registrations we cannot hold seats for people, first come first serve basis. If anyone has any switches and/or power boards that they wouldn't mind bring along, everything helps but make sure you label your hardware before you bring it.

This events tournament schedule has been finalized (viewable) the changes have given a variety and choice for everyone, Please make sure your games are ready, the latest updates for comp games will be provided on our intranet we don't supply games. Also you will be required to use a legitimate unbanned Steam account to partake in comps or free-play servers. All Valve games will be running VAC, this means game launchers such as "Steam Buster" will not work.

We will be running public servers for Counter-Strike Source, Team Fortress 2 & Battlefield 2 these will be standard servers for people to play on during the event, depending on loads we will run up more servers.

Just like to give thanks to SteelSeries, Thermaltake, AMD/ATI, LensWeb & TAFE Tasmania for providing us with some great prizes, promotional giveaways and network equipment.

Happy New Year Everyone, it's been a great year, everyone has most-likely faced some challenges during 2007 and are ready to take on 2008, which hopefully be another fun year.

A big thanks to everyone who helped out and attended our ever growing Dark-Media LAN events without the support from both Staff, BlackJagaurGaming and Lanners we wouldn't be able to bring you such big events, each event providing a much larger event.

On behalf of the staff at Dark-Media have a great new year and see you the next lan.
