DM-LAN X13 Update

DM-LAN X13 is close now, if you pre purchased your ticket online please make sure you bring valid photo identification (Drivers Licence, Student ID or Personal ID). Same as our previous events once you get to citywide sign-in at the front desk, sign the entry form, walk into the venue and plug-in and let the awesomeness overwhelm you.

Please note the pre-payment system and pre-register system closes on Thursday night (tomorrow), so make sure you get in before then, tickets are selling fast.

This events tournament schedule has been finalised (tournament timetable) we cannot cater for everyone and we do apologise. Please make sure your games are ready, the latest updates for comp games will be provided on our intranet we do not supply games. Also you will be required to use a legitimate unbanned Steam account to partake in comps or free-play servers.

This LAN we will be providing prizes to Tier 1 & Tier 2 only, these prizes have yet to be confirmed, but Thermaltake and SteelSeries will be sponsoring this event and we will have our lucky door of a one terabyte hard drive.

We will continue to run our food run going to (KFC, McDonalds and Pizza Hut) which closes at 8:15pm on the night and our canteen will be stocked with Rockstar, Cocacola products, 600ml Water, Cadbury products and All natural confectonary products.

We will be running public servers for Counter-Strike Source, Team Fortress 2 and Call of Duty 4 these will be standard servers for people to play on during the event, depending on loads we will run up more servers if required.

Dark-Media LAN X13 is officially confirmed for Friday 2nd of July 2010.

Sorry, most of the admin team have been busy with other commitments but we have found time and we plan to run another event before the end of the year so do not stress, we still want to run an awesome event! A big congratulations to Catalyst Gaming at the North of Tasmania for running another amazing event and from the feedback we have heard you should not miss it.

Dark-Media LAN will be running all the latest game versions, also if you wish to partake in tournaments you must have purchased the game, we do not provide temporary games to people. Steam accounts are needed to play any Steam-based game these account must be "in good standing" to connect to any free-play or tournament server.

The tournaments for DM-LAN X13 have not been officially decided however your favorite tournaments of Counter-Strike Source, Team Fortress and that fishing game Call of Duty 4 plus an awesome prize pool of over $500 of cash and Thermaltake, SteelSeries provided gear can be won during DM-LAN X13.

DM-LAN official starting time is 6:00pm on Friday but the doors will be open from 5:30pm and the event will closes at 10am Saturday morning. This event we will be utilizing both a pre-pay model which will enable you to purchase and reserve seats and the previous pre-register. Event Registration is now open.
