there's plenty of spots already. I ride, (last raffnix) :) newly built.
um if you go to grassy Vally if you don't know where that is go on the mournting round about, and when you reach the T turn right onto the grass. follow the dirt road up, i think then turn left, and then mabey a right (just follow he road) then follow track for a fare while until you see a large open plain. there's around 50? jumps, couple a bit warn down but do-able. don't know if there all still there probably are, it just there's plans for another mtb park there.

also there's freenchys jumps at wavely street far left side somewhere up in that bush.

hope that helped and.

fuck OFF MOTO BOGANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we are always taking out tracks made up near the mountain, fckers building illegal downhill bike tracks.
costs $1000 a year to take them out and restore the area.

I agree with Frost.

Bike tracks (on land you don't own) are a bit like environmental vandalism.

I guess they could also be dangerous as well in some cases.

I quite enjoyed going out into the bush and making up a bike track when i did it and i reckon i would still enjoy it. i agree it can be dangerous and classified as environmental vandalisim but that is mostly because of a few people making thier tracks in the wrong place. eg; the mountain. if you are a resposible about the tracks you make you have them blend into whats already there, no cutting down trees or anything of the sort, all i'm saying is there is a good bike track and a bad one. it's becoming a very very fine line though

Agreeing smiddy is Agreeing.

I see your point of view, and anyway dicks in 4wds go ripping through the bush and people rarely stop them!

I believe i'm digging up an old topic. But if you guys are interested in doing some awesome bike runs. Along side a (not too huge) set of jumps. The gorge in Launceston is great. A few downhill tracks. one of them is/was used for official tournaments as far as i've been told. Apparently 'moto fags' haven't destroyed anything there.

Needless to say. Those jumps can cause concussions.
