Ok heres a small list of software and patches etc you will need to mod your msn nicely I used most of these myself and messenger live is alot nicer most of this stuff is self explanatory this is more or less just a list

Next I reccomend Messenger Live Plus! which will allow you to enhance and do alot more things with messenger live including tabbed interface send sounds custom statues and so on its one of the best and most popular power tools out there for the msn clients.

A-Patch Or Mess Patch For Live

I reccomend either of these patches they basically allow you to remove any unwanted junk such as ads etc and add a few smaller extra features such as unlimited nudgeing different buttons/games etc and so on.

Thats basically it simple eh with just these tools you can make live even more functional and better then before another thing is you can also find themes for messenger live Here just make sure the theme matches your version of messenger live or it could mess things up in the program.
