Well my HAF started its journey as the new housing for all my new bits that would come together as my new rig. So far I haven't done much to it apart from paint the inside of the chassis black and apply an applique to the side window.

Before putting in all my new parts the first step was to paint the insides as it would have been annoying to take everything back out again, plus I didn't have everything at the time I had my case

Once it had been painted and dried and I had all my parts it was time to start putting it together. (I only have a few photos of this)

I don't have any pictures of it all up and running, I might take a few soon though and of my set up in general.

The next step I want to take with this is to paint the HDD bay rails, front panels, PSU tray, maybe the fan blades and maybe the optical drive front panel. I'm not sure what colour I want to do this yet, my original plan, while not being very original for a HAF, was to follow a red and black colour scheme. Now I'm thinking a red, white and black colour scheme could be cool. White fan blades would look nice I think. Hopefull I'll start painting next weekend anyway.

Hardware wise this rig will remain the same for a long while. The only part I plan on upgrading any time soon is the GPU but I will probably skip the ATI 5XXX series and wait for the 6XXX series. Depending on how much of a price drop ATI introduce when Nvidia's 4XX cards come out I may get a 5870, who knows.

I'll update this when I start painting again.

Uhm, colour wise, yeah Chemical but no physical modifications like that just yet. I'll be staying on air as well.

Rightyo, did a little more painting over the last week. I ended up painting 3 of the front grills and my HDD rails.

And my setup as of about 5 minutes ago

I'm not sure what I want to paint next. I think I would like to do the fan blades on the top, rear and side fans red but it involves a bit of work to do them properly and I can't be bothered right now.
New monitor soon hopefully as well
