so its a solderless mod? so you would be able to revert it back to normal still with the HDD. has the console had any red rings, heat issues etc? and would it still be same price without the mod?

Yes it's done Solderless, just a firmware change,No red rings or repairs (I cracked the ms seal when I did the dvd firmware) Still the same price.

Awesome.. I'm not too familiar with the XBox's models and such, so sorry if this is somehow known by the HDD size, etc, but is it an Arcade, Elite, or what?

Its a arcade with a 60g hdd added.

They are all pretty much the same it's just what comes with them that designates what they are called.

Arcade comes with 256 memory card.
pro has a hard drive 20-60 gig.
Elite has a hard drive 120-250 gig plus headset extra cables and other stuff.

Hi mate
mfr 2006/11/01 so no warranty .
Not sure on past history but the seal was intact when I got it so may or may not have been fixed by m$ but no x clamp.
The drive is a Hitachi flashed with ixtreme 1.51 and not banned because I haven't had it on line since I did the mod. But don't use it online or it will be.
